The fort is a major attraction of Bikaner built in the year 1593 by Raja Raj Singh General of the Army of Mughal ruler, Akbar. Fortification is famous for it’s huge structure and building plans, the fort is spread over a sprawling zone that is bounded by 986 meters in long wall. It comprises 37 bastions, a moat and two passages. Not at all like different fortresses, this fort was not based on a hoisted stage but rather at a ground level. Among the imperative attractions inside the Junagarh Fort includes, Anup Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Phool Mahal, Badal Mahal, Diwan-e-Khas, Dungar Mahal, Ganga Mahal and Rang Mahal.

One of the main attractions of Bikaner situated on the embankment on Lake. It was built by former leader of the Bikaner. Gajner Palace is utilized for hunting and retreating during ancient times by regal family. Gajner Palace is arranged in the thick forest and you could see migratory birds run in great numbers. Devi Kund Sagar is one of the well known tourist places, which is situated at a distance of 8 kilometers from the city center. This spot is a regal crematorium that has a few ornamented cenotaphs, known as Chhatri. These cenotaphs are tribute to Bikaji dynasty that kept going between Rao Kalyan Singh Ji and Maharaja Karni Singh Ji. Various chhatris like the Devi Kund Chhatri and Maharaja Suraj Singh’s Chhatri are the most excellent among all and are a finest example of architecture. In addition, there is an large collection of Rajput works of art on the roof that draws attraction of travelers .

The Palace was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh in the year 1902 in the memory of his dad Maharaja Lal singh ji. The red sandstone construction is an awesome example of the architectural splendor of the past. Mughal, Rajput and European designs mix astoundingly well. The lovely gardens houses peacocks, which are a sight to watch when they dance. You could find library, cards room and pool room among different rooms. Lalgarh Palace is a banquet to your eyes and draftsmen’s joy.

Rampuria Haveli is amongst the best places to see in Bikaner. Actually, Rampuria is a gathering of Havelis that were developed in the fifteenth century by Rampuria family. The havelis are made of Dulmera red sand stone and shows flawless artistic skills. The lavish inside embellished with tasteful antiques, brilliant artworks and woodwork are the significant fascination.
