Shirdi Sai Baba Temple

Shirdi Sai temple is a beautiful shrine that was built over the Samadhi of Shri Sai Baba located in small village in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra.  The temple is dedicated to Shri Sai Baba and was established in 1922 to carry out the services of Shri Sai Baba. On every Thursday there is special Sai Baba Aarti and Darshan at the temple. Aarti is held four times a day at the Samadhi at 4.30 am, twelve noon, evening around 6.30pm and 10.30p.m. The temple is constructed wonderfully with silver pillars and has an assembly hall which can house 600 devotees at a time. The Sai Baba Temple is visited frequently by tourists and devotees every year. The place is famous for its celebration of Ramnavami, Gurupurnima, Vijayadashmi and Muharram.

How to Reach

The nearest Airports are Nasik (75 km), Aurangabad (140 Km), Pune (200 Km) and Mumbai (250 Km) has regular flights from major cities. Sainagar is the nearest Railway station which about 2 km away from Shirdi. And there are regular state buses, private deluxe and semi deluxe buses other than taxis and mini vans which connect to Shirdi from neighboring cities.
