Nathdwara is a town located in the state of Rajasthan in India. This city is located on the Aravalli hills, and on the banks of the Banas River. This town is famous for its temple of Krishna which houses the 14th-century idol of Shrinathji that depicts a 7-year-old “infant” in incarnation of Lord Krishna. The idol was originally worshiped at Mathura but it was shifted to Agra for almost six months, in order to protect it from Mughal ruler Aurangzeb who spread anti-Hindu obsessive revolutionary act based on Islamic policies breaking many of the temples of the Hindus.Nathdwara is actually a small town ship that is mostly populated with the Vaishnavites and also recognized as one of the most religious places of the Hindus in the state.
