Nainital is another exotic hill station of the Uttarakhand state in India. This hill station is set in the middle of the Kumaon Hills and known for being a great hill station and a holiday spot among the travelers. Nainital is divided into two parts, the first one is Talli tal and the second part is Malli tal, with the lake separating them in between.

Talli tal is the southern side of the lake, while Malli tal entails of the northern upper parts. The town suffered destruction in the year 1880 because of a Landslip, but afterwards this city was reconstructed by the British. This hill station is famous for its lake, exotic natural views, and numerous esteemed educational organizations.

  • You can visit Nainital to view some great panoramic view of some of the best natural scenes of the Uttarakhand state. If you want to see snowfall just like any foreign country then does visit this place between the months of December and January. You cannot miss the snow view in the Naina peak which is also known with the name of China Peak. You can see the high peaks of the Himalaya from this peak these are covered with white glittering snow and the panoramic view of the Nainital town.
  • You cannot miss visiting the Nainital Lake which is set amidst the heart of the Nainital city. This lake is shaped in eye shape and attracts thousands of tourists every year. This lake draws people because of its serene beauty and people can enjoy boating as well as exploring the natural surroundings.
  • Nainital is a great place for trekking and you cannot ignore this activity if you are a trek lover. You can trek on the Naina peak or the China peak and also on the Tiffin Top. Tiffin top trekking can be little hectic because of more crowd but you can hire horses which will take you to the highest level and it is indeed a different experience.
  • Do not ever miss the Jim Corbett national park where you can find rare species of animals and birds. This place is India‚Äôs oldest national Park.

  • You can shop for some traditional purchases like shawls, cardigans, local jams, scarves and woolen items.
  • You can also explore the surrounding places of Nainital such as Hanumangarhi. Naukuchia Tal, Bhimtal Lake, khurpa Tal and many other places. These places are equally beautiful as Nainital and they can also be explored with a local bus provided by the state tourism departments.
