Kaziranga National Park is one of the oldest National Parks in Assam, India. It is famous for one-horned rhinos and composes of up to one-third of their world population. Kaziranga also possess of being the habitat of the highest density of tigers in the world and has been marked as a tiger reserve in 2006. It has also been added to the list of World Heritage Sites of UNESCO. The park also abides wild water buffaloes, elephants, swamp deer and different species of birds, reptiles, and amphibians. Kaziranga shelters 491 species of birds, 27 species of reptiles, 42 species of fish and 9 species of amphibians.
