Jodhpur is the second largest city of the state of Rajasthan in India.   • You have to visit the Mehrangarh Fort to see the exquisite beauty of the fort. This fort is the largest of all forts in Rajasthan and comprises many other divisions and places inside it. Various other palaces include the Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Zenana Deodi and Chamunda Mata Temple. This palace is a must visit because you can find many of other activities here.
  • You can also visit the Jaswant Thada which is Royal memorials constructed beautifully in marble, with an attractive location with a little lake beside it. Do not forget to visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace which has been converted as a 5 Star hotel in present times. The Maharaja of Jodhpur use to stay in this palace. You can also visit the Khejarla Fort which is constructed in red sandstone with some of the intricate architecture with, latticework decorations, and elaborated Jharokas or windows in it.

  • Do visit duringt the local festival of Teej which is a festival for the married women and they celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm. Beautiful mehandi designs, swings, and folk dances and music can be seen during this festival. You can also attend the Marwar festival in which is a favorite festival of the local festival.
  • Do attend this city during the Ganguar as this is also a festival for married women and there are various fairs are also organized during this festival time. You can attend this festival during March- April after Holi celebrations.
