Gandhinagar is the capital city of the state of Gujarat in India. This city is located on the bank of Sabarmati River and the city is flourished with all kinds of resources and amenities because this city is especially architecturally planned and designed.   • Gandhinagar is a place where you can see some of the beautiful temples and ancient monuments of India. You can visit the majestic and splendid Akshardham temple which is considered as one of the largest temples of the entire state. The temple is built of pink sandstone with beautiful carvings made on it. In this temple, you will find art and architecture altogether. The principal idol of the temple is the idol of Lord Swami Narayan which is seven foot in height and covered with gold leaves. The temple has intricately carved stone structure and settled amidst magnificent and flowering gardens.
  • You can also move towards the Deer Park which is also known as the Indroda Park. This is a place where both adults and children will love to visit. The park is decorated with is a large area containing various parks which are based on Jurassic Park theme and you get to see a deer park along with a snake park, also with a birds park. Because of the Jurassic Park theme, this park has a Dinosaurs Park too where you can see huge statues of different Dinosaurs are kept with their historical information. In the snake park, you can see lots of local snakes and there is an aquarium with various species of birds flying around.
  • Mahudi Jain Temple is another beautiful construction in Gandhinagar to be seen. This is a Jain Temple and it is believed that the idols of this temple that are installed are more than 2000 years old.
