Sultanpur palace is one of the most tourist attractions in Kullu. It is also known as Rupi Palace. The Sultanpur Palace is famous for its beautiful miniature paintings in Kullu Style. The painting shows the simple rural backgrounds of the local people of Kullu. It was reconstructed near the old palace after it got destroyed by a massive quake. Huge wooden logs have been used to construct the massive gates that lead to the entrance of the palace. The interior of the palace is remarkable and you will find some wall paintings that are still well-preserved. The Sultanpur palace is the residence of the former ruling family. Therefore the tourists will have to take permission from the residents of Kullu before visiting the Rupi palace. The mesmerizing natural beauty of the Kullu region can be viewed from the surroundings of the palace.

Naggar Castle is a heritage monument built in 15th century by Raja Sidh Singh. It is a beautiful castle overlooks through Himalaya. Here, a gallery houses the paintings of the Russian artist Nicholas Roerich. Naggar also has three other old shrines.The castle that depicts the architectural style of western Himalayan Region was made with stone and wood.

It was the residence of Nicholas Roerich – A renowned Russian painter. Now it has been turned into an art gallery and museum and is supervised by a joint trust made by the Russian Government and the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The ground floor of this museum that has all the painting works of Nicholas Roerich displayed. Visitors get mesmerized looking at this masterpiece artworks that showcase a different Himalayas through the eye of Nicholas.

Gaurishankar temple is one of the important religious destination in Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. This temple has two idols one of Goddess Parvati and another of Lord shiva. This ancient temple is a pleasant example of architecture and carving of its particular period. To add to the temple’s glory, it is considered a protected monument by the Government of India. This heritage site is a must visit for its historical past and rich architecture. The temple is a fine variety of the ‘shikhara’ style, an uncommon form of architecture in this part of the country.

This magnificent temple built in a pyramid style and houses a large "Yoni-Lingam" idol representing Lord Shiva and his wife Goddess Parvati. The history of this majestic temple dates back to the 9th century AD and is famous for its intricate stone carvings. One can also see the idols of other Hindu deities like Lord Vishnu, Ganesha, Durga, and Laxmi are housed inside the temple and the Ganesha idol is placed in a three-sided shrine outside the temple. This huge temple, which is located in a small village called Bajura, is built in a pyramid style.
