Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple

Ambalapuzha Sree Krishna Temple located in Alleppey District of Kerala is dedicated to Lord Krishna and is believed to have been built during 15th – 17th AD. This temple is linked with the famous Guruvayur Krishna Temple as during the raids of Tipu Sultan in 1789 the idols from Guruvayur was brought to this temple. Since then the temple value and importance have increased among the devotees.
