    Snana Yatra is a bathing festival also known as Devasnana Purnima celebrated on the Purnima of the month of Jyestha. It is very important and sacred festival of the Jagannath devotees. There is a belief of the devotees that if they see the lord on this day they would be washes away all of their sins. Therefore a large number of devotees visit the temple on the occasion. According to Skanda Purana when King Indradyumna introduced the wooden gods he arranged this bathing ceremony. On the earlier day of Snana Yatra the pictures of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Goddess Subhadra alongside the picture of Sudarshana are ceremonially brought out from the inward sanctum of the main temple in a parade to the Snana Mandapa. This bathing stage is arranged toward the north-east of Ananda Bazar furthermore the outer wall of the temple.

    Ratha Yatra is also known as Chariot Festival or car Festival belongs to God Jagannath Yatra held at Puri. This annual festival is celebrated on Ashadha Shukla Dwitiya. This is one of the most awaited Hindu celebrations of the state as well as the country. The festival of this day begins much prior that involves the development and embellishment of the Raths or Chariot by various devotees and volunteers. The three chariots that are the highlights of the whole Yatra are pulled by strings. All these chariots are finished with different plans and hues by the craftsmen of Puri that showcases their energy for the Yatra.

    It is a festival saw in the Shree Jagannath Temple at Puri at a predefined time as per Hindu Calender. Naba implies new and Kalebara is body. The event involves installation of new images in the temple and burial of the old ones in the temple premises at Koili Vaikuntha. The idols that are currently being worshipped in the temple premises were installed in the year 1996.

    Gupta Gundicha i.e Secret car Festival of Lord Sri Jagannath, proceed for nine sequential days as like Rathyatra, In accordance with convention and custom of Sri mandir. This Gupta Gundicha is celebrated from Aswina Krusna Dwitya to Aswina Sukla Prtipada tithi. After consummation of lunch in the Sri Mandir. The Vimanbadu servants carry Sri Durga – Madhab in a chariot to the temple of Narayani at Dolamandap Sahi. This festival comes to an end on Dasahara.
