Lakshadweep is a group of islands settled in the Laccadive Sea which is located in the southwestern coast of India. This is counted as one of the Union territories of India. Previously this place was known as Minicoy, Laccadive and Amindivi Islands and every year thousands of tourists visit this place from all over the world. Lakshadweep has got its name from the Sanskrit work Lakh Dweep which means a collection of ‘One hundred thousand Islands’. The islands of this Union Territory are located on the Arabian Sea and India’s only coral reef and physically are a part of the same chain as the Maldives. You can spend your vacation in the beautiful places of three reefs, twelve atolls, and five submerged banks and you can spend some quality time in the marines and villages of the island
