War Memorial is a beautiful place to visit. It is located at the entry point of the Dharamshala. It is located in the pine forest of Dharamshala. It is a tribute to the Soldiers who sacrificed their life for the country. This war memorial is made in the memories of who lost their life during the operation of 1947-48, 1962, 1965, and 1971 and various peacekeeping missions

Dal Lake

It is a mid altitude lake situated at the distance of 11 Kilometers from the main city Dharmshala. It lies amidst hills and stately fig trees. It is famous for its scenic beauty and the pilgrimage center. On the bank of the Dal Lake, a famous Lord Shiva temple is also located. This is considered to be very sacred and is as old as 200 years.

It is a small town near Dharamsala located in the Dhauladhar Ranges. This place is famous for the temple of Mata Kunal Pathri dedicated to local Goddess Durga. This place is surrounded by dense tea gardens and is a perfect place to have a natural walk. The temple premises offer a good view of Dhauladhar Range and low lying lawns. 

McLeod Ganj

McLeod Ganj is a residence of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and is the home of large Tibetan refugees, including many monks and nuns. McLeod Ganj is a place of pilgrimage that attracts Buddhists and famous personalities from all over the world, including Hollywood celebrities such as Richard Gere and Uma Thurman. Many people visit India specifically to come here, and its relaxed and friendly atmosphere can make it difficult to leave.

Bhagsunath is a village located near Dharamshala. It is popular for Bhagsunath temples and springs with water pool. This ancient Shiva Temple is associated with a mythological legend and is believed to have been built by King Bhagsu. As per legend, Nag Devta, the snake God, was drawn into the battle with the regional ruler Bhagsu, after the king stole water from the sacred Nag Dal Lake. The shrine was built by King Bhagsu after seeking forgiveness from the Snake God.

It is a crown jewel of Dharamshala situated in the lap of Dhauladhar Mountains. It has the perfect view of the Dhauladhar Mountains. Triund is a very popular trekking spot. Triund attracts a lot of tourists every year from India and all over the world.

It is one of the most famous monasteries of Buddhist People since this one is the biggest one outside Tibet. It is the home complex for His Holiness Dalai Lama and his devotees, monks and other meditational followers. The monastery is opened for all tourists during day time but the home residence of His Holiness & quarters of other followers are not allowed to visit for tourists. This monastery is the biggest meditation and Mantra Chanting temple for Buddhist people around the country.
