Allahabad is among the oldest pilgrimage centers of India. The city is known for its religious tourism, there are lots of eminent temples here. The place is famous for Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh mela large number of devotee come here to take bath in Ganges.

  1. Patalpuri Temple

    Patalpuri is one of the oldest temples in Allahabad, situated within the Allahabad Fort was built by Akbar. Inside the fort, lies the Akshaya Vat – the immortal tree believed to have been visited by Lord Rama, the temple was also seen by Hiuen Tsang the famous Chinese traveler and writer during his visit.
