St. Joseph’s School:
It was established in 1888 by Fr Henri Depelchin a Belgian Jesuit priest. The school is ranked as the best boarding school in West Bengal. The school is affiliated to CISCE and prepares students for the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE). The medium of instruction is in English and the subjects offered are English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Economic application, Environmental education, Computer Application, Nepali, Hindi, Bengali, art and craft.

St. Paul’s School:
It was founded in 1823. It is one of Asia’s oldest public schools. The school is run by the Church of North India. School offers facilities like Gymnasium, a cricket and athletics ground, two other playing fields, and courts for tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, squash etc. There is a central library and separate libraries for the primary wing & junior wing, each stocked with books chosen carefully to match the required reading standards. Old Mount Hermon School:
It was founded in 1895. It is a co-educational, day cum boarding school. It offers Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) Programmes at the secondary and higher secondary levels. It is the only school in Darjeeling which offers day boarding and full boarding facilities for both boys and girls from kindergarten to class XII. The school campus offers facilities like dining hall, an infirmary, well equipped computer and science laboratories and a well stocked. The school boasts world class facilities for sports such as cricket, basketball, hockey, football, badminton, softball, volleyball, swimming and athletics.
Goethals Memorial School (GMS):
It was founded in 1907 by the Congregation of Christian Brothers. It is a residential cum day school, affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. The school campus offers spacious classrooms, computer laboratory and well equipped science labs with modern instruments. School also organizes many competitions like debate, quiz, elocution, spell-bee and performances include singing, dancing, concerts, skits etc in which many students display their talent. They also provide hostel facility.
Godwin Modern School:
It is a co-educational, Boarding School. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi till the Senior Secondary Level.
